Eligibility is determined by the NDIS. The NDIS assesses each participant’s needs to determine the appropriate level and type of SDA required. We can assist you to understand what you are eligible for and assist with your application.

Yes, you and your family or caregivers can visit our available SDA properties. We want you to be sure that you will be comfortable in the home you choose, and it has the appropriate supports to help you live as independently as possible.

SDA homes are equipped with features that support high needs, such as modified bathrooms and wheelchair-accessible spaces. Additionally, participants may receive on-site support depending on their specific requirements, which can include assistance with daily living tasks.

SDA is funded through the NDIS. The funding level and the type of accommodation provided are based on the participant’s assessed needs.

We want you to live a rich and fulfilling life, so if that includes pets, we want to work with you to make this possible. You will need to be confident in providing all necessary care to the pet including cleaning up after them, feeding and walking them (if necessary) as this is not something our disability support workers can aid with. Additionally, if you are in a shared accommodation, you will need to receive permission from all other residents before introducing a pet.

We take care of the building insurance. You will responsible for taking out an appropriate level of contents insurance to cover loss or damage to your own belongings.
