We have partnerships with several highly reputable SIL providers, or we will support our participants to work with a SIL provider of their choice. Our aim is to provide the environment and flexibility to achieve goals and live fulfilling lives.

SDA Homes Range

Fully Accessible homes are designed to provide universal access to people with physical impairments. These accommodations feature step-free access at external doors and outdoor private areas. Doors and windows are powered to allow for retrofitting with automation as needed. Key areas such as bathroom vanities, kitchen sinks, cooktops, meal preparation benches, and major appliances are designed to be accessible from either a seated or standing position.

High Physical Support Need homes are designed for individuals with significant physical impairments who require extensive support. In addition to the features found in fully accessible designs, these accommodations include structural provisions for ceiling hoists, are equipped with assistive technology capabilities, and offer essential amenities such as heating, cooling, and advanced household communication technologies.

Recognising the unique challenges that individuals with complex behaviours face, At Ease Living’s Robust Homes provide a holistic, trauma-informed approach centered on collaboration. We partner closely with participants, their families, and key stakeholders, such as the Department of Justice and DHS, to create personalised support plans tailored to their specific needs and goals. Our dedicated team is carefully recruited and trained to deliver specialised care through a trauma-informed perspective. We empower participants by prioritising choice and control, and we train our support staff to respond thoughtfully rather than react impulsively in challenging situations.

Improved Liveability homes are designed for individuals with sensory, intellectual, or cognitive impairments. These features include easy entry and navigation throughout the space, with doorways and other elements that are easy to see. The layout allows for clear visibility from one room to another and can be readily adapted to meet individual needs.

Registered NDIS SDA Provider

As a registered NDIS SDA provider, we offer a range of specialised services within our SDA houses across Melbourne and Victoria. We’re also in collaboration with SDA Developers to create more housing opportunities. Our SDA services include:

Registering SDA dwellings with the NDIS
Developing SDA Service Agreements
Managing rental residential tenancy agreements
Processing monthly SDA payment claims from the NDIS and ensuring payment to the SDA owner within five business days
Collecting rent from SDA residents
Ensuring residents' rights are protected in line with the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA)
Managing and advertising vacancies to efficiently accommodate NDIS participants
Informing residents of any changes to service agreements
Reporting maintenance and repair requests to property owners
Coordinating repair work and submitting claims to the NDIS for participant-specific damage to the property
